Good to Know
Your renovation questions, answered
Timelines, budgets, permits, warranties and the build process — everything you need to plan with confidence.
Are you a licensed builder?
Yes, we are fully licensed. Our QLD licence number is 15464499QLD, and our NSW licence number is 487617C.
Any building contractor or tradesperson working on residential building, wiring, plumbing or draining must be licensed — this protects you from unscrupulous builders who may not work to Australian standards.
Do you offer fixed-price quotes?
Yes, we offer clear and transparent fixed-price quotes so you know exactly what to expect.
Do I need to organise any trades myself?
No, we've got it covered. We coordinate and manage all trades needed for your renovation.
Do I need to know my budget before contacting you?
Knowing your budget range helps us review the project requirements and quote based on what's realistically possible. Our designs and plans are customised for you in accordance with your budget.
How long does a renovation take?
It depends on the type and size of the project. A complete home renovation can take around 4–6 months, plus a 1–2 month design process. Kitchens and bathrooms usually take 2–6 weeks — it's always best to discuss your requirements with us.
Do you offer a warranty?
Yes, we do. Please speak with us about the details of your warranty on 0402 301 580.
Can you help with the design process or layout ideas?
Yes, we're happy to offer advice. For more in-depth planning, we can also connect you with our design partners for larger projects.
What if I already have a designer or architect?
We're happy to work with any designer or architect you've consulted with.
Do I need permission to renovate my house or apartment?
Internal renovations don't usually need council approval unless structural changes are involved. Most external renovations, building work and extensions will require approval — and depending on your council, even a small project like a new fence or deck may too.
If you live in an apartment, check with your building manager or strata before any internal work, as there are usually rules and restrictions. We'll guide you through what applies to your project.
Do you work on investment properties?
Absolutely. We work with both owner-occupied homes and investment properties, depending on your goals.
How soon can we get started?
It depends on our current workload and how quickly we can finalise your quote. We'll always aim to get things moving as soon as possible.
