Build On Renovations is a licensed renovation builder working across the Gold Coast and Northern New South Wales. We are not a tiling crew that subcontracts the rest. We hold a Queensland builder licence, a New South Wales builder licence and full insurance, and we manage every trade on your job ourselves.

Do I need council approval to renovate a bathroom in Queensland?
Usually not. If you are replacing fixtures and finishes inside the existing room without changing the structure or the building footprint, development approval is generally not required. You do still need licensed trades, compliant waterproofing and a Form 4 lodged with the QBCC for notifiable plumbing work. If you are moving walls or windows, that can change, and we will tell you at the quote stage.
