Our Bathroom Renovation Services in Palm Beach
Full Bathroom Renovations
Complete strip-out and rebuild. We remove everything back to the frame, check and repair any hidden damage, waterproof to standard, then rebuild with your chosen tiles, tapware, vanity and screens. This is the right option for any bathroom over 15 years old, because partial work on old membranes rarely holds.
Ensuite Renovations
Ensuites are small, so every millimetre counts. We rework layouts to gain floor space, swap tubs for walk-in showers, add wall-hung vanities to open up the floor and fit sliding or cavity doors where a swing door wastes room. Popular with Palm Beach owners upgrading a main bedroom without touching the family bathroom.
Laundry Renovations
Beachside laundries work harder than most. Wet towels, sandy boardshorts, salty wetsuits. We build laundries with deep tubs, sealed benchtops, proper drainage and enough hanging and storage space to actually cope. Many clients pair this with their bathroom build, so both wet areas share one trade schedule and one set of costs.
Small Bathroom & Unit Renovations
Older Palm Beach units often have a 1.8m by 2m bathroom with a bath nobody uses. We open these up with frameless screens, floor-to-ceiling tiling, recessed niches and lighter finishes. The footprint stays the same. It just stops feeling like a cupboard.
Accessible & Ageing-in-place Bathrooms
Step-free hobless showers, slip-rated floor tiles, reinforced walls for grab rails and seating built to last. Designed for homeowners who plan to stay in Palm Beach long term rather than move.
Custom Design & Layout Changes
Moving plumbing, removing a wall, converting a bath space into a double shower, adding a second toilet. As licensed bathroom builders in Palm Beach, we handle structural and plumbing changes, not just surface finishes.

Your Local Trusted Bathroom Renovation Company in Palm Beach
Salt air does not stay outside. In Palm Beach, it gets into your tapware, your hinges, your exhaust fan and your shower screen brackets. Add the humidity that sits in a closed bathroom all summer, and you get rust spots, black mould in the silicone and a door that no longer sits square.
Most homeowners here do not want a bathroom that looks good for two years. They want one built for a beachside street where the windows stay open and the sand never fully leaves.

FAQ’s
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need council approval for a bathroom renovation in Palm Beach?
Usually not for a like-for-like renovation. Approval is generally needed if you change the building structure, alter the roofline or move an external wall. Plumbing and drainage work must be carried out by a licensed plumber and, where the work is notifiable, lodged with the QBCC. We handle all of this as part of the job.
How do I know the waterproofing was done properly?
Ask for the waterproofing certificate and the applicator’s licence details. Every Build On Renovations bathroom comes with this documentation. Keep it. It matters at resale and if you ever need to make a claim.
Can you renovate my bathroom if I live in a unit?
Yes. We complete bathroom renovations in Palm Beach units and townhouses regularly and prepare the documentation your body corporate needs before work starts.
Will I be without a bathroom the whole time?
If it is your only bathroom, yes, for roughly three to four weeks. Many clients stagger the work or arrange temporary facilities. We will talk through options at the consultation and can prioritise getting the toilet back online early where the layout allows.
